Code of Conduct

Catalight Classroom's Code of Conduct has been established to ensure a positive and enriching learning experience for all participants, fostering a culture of respect, integrity, and collaboration.

All members of the Catalight Classroom learning community have an obligation to:

  • Act with honesty and integrity
  • Respect other learners, instructors, and the learning environment
  • Support learning
  • Create a safe learning environment

All members of the learning community must refrain from engaging in any in-person or virtual learning, or digital communications or behavior that is considered to be:

  • Interfering with the learning and working of others
  • Unsafe or illegal
  • Bullying, harassing, intimidating, retaliating, discriminating, or violent

Catalight Classroom is built on the foundation of inclusivity and respect for diversity. All members of the learning community are expected to not participate in any form of discriminatory conduct based on race, color, ancestry, place of origin, religion, marital status, family status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, and age. Every member of our community is valued for their unique perspective and contributions, and we strive to create an environment where all individuals feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Breaking the code of conduct will result in consequences in accordance with the violation's severity, ensuring accountability and upholding the integrity of our learning community.
