We will use this information to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it (such as to process your payment for courses and course related materials, send service communications, provide you with our newsletter and/or announcements, and for our business operations). We also require Personal Information (ex: full name, license number, etc.) when you participate in remote proctoring or other course facilitation processes, so that Catalight Classroom's third-party vendor can monitor and assess the integrity of your course activity, or when you earn a Certificate (the certificate will have your name on it).
You may be expected to generate original content and submit that content for evaluation by your instructor. Some of the videos may include you engaging with both children and adults. For example, a course may require you to interact with your classmates through a discussion board in the classroom, and your instructor may grade you on your participation. You should understand that if you post content in the classroom in a manner accessible to your classmates, it may be more widely disseminated. For example, one of your classmates could re-post that content to another Web site.
You may also be required to submit videos implementing course content. Though some assignments you submit may be accessible to your classmates, assignments where videos are shared showing your implementation of the course content with children or adults will only be accessible by Catalight Classroom in order to perform needed assessments for grading purposes.
We use the content you submit to evaluate your performance in courses you register for, provide you with feedback, and to assign you a grade. In addition, the feedback you submit during the course and the instructor evaluation you submit at the end of a course may be used to improve the course and other Catalight Classroom products, programs, and services. We may also use information available through the classroom for academic advising purposes and may contact you about services and products that may be of interest to you.
