Chat: Program -

Description
Welcome to the Chat Program, an assessment-based certificate program. Chat is a naturalistic developmental program for parents and children with developmental delay, or developmental disability under 6 years. Rooted in developmental milestones, parent education and play, Chat focuses on educating and empowering parents to support their child's developmental milestones through immersion of strategies in their daily routine.

While focusing on language, social-emotional, cognitive, play and daily routine, Chat clinicians use their diverse clinical backgrounds to teach parents and help kids advance. Chat clinicians come from a range of backgrounds, including social work, occupational therapy, psychology, and speech therapy. It is an empirically based, parent-mediated naturalistic developmental intervention, meeting all requirements of the National Standards project.
